Steelseries Siberia V2 Microphone Not Working

Hey guys, I recently purchased my xbox one, and was disapointed by the fact that any microphones other then the standard one are hard to get working. I can hear sound through my headset, but cannot speak. I have tried many solutions, I have bought a convertor
to plug the two jacks into one into the stereo adaptor in the bottom of the controller, however that does not work, I have tried plugging the audio jack into the TV, and the mic jack into the stereo adaptor, however that does not work either.

Does anyone have any solutions as to how to get my headphones to work with the XBOX One?

Steel series Siberia v2 headset

Steelseries Siberia V2 is a headset that belongs to the old console generation and while it worked well with xbox 360, the Steelseries went through an update and delivered The Steelseries Siberia Elite for the current console generation.

Siberia V2 Headset, it unfortunately looks like it is not compatible with the Xbox One console. You can refer to

SteelSeries' Headset Platform Compatibility Matrix for a list of all of the headsets SteelSeries' has that work with the Xbox One console. Hope that helps!

 

as far as I've been told, this is literally the wayt eh software is set up in the console. You have to use a headset that is officiated by Microsoft unfortunately. There aren't many third-party headsets that will work. Most are simply Turtle Beaches.
