Steelseries H with headset adapter : big chat issue

Godless what worked for me is I had to use the Xbox adapter that came with the Steelseries headset with the adapter. The turtle beach chat cable does not work with the steelseries. It works fine with my px5 connected to the adapted but for some reason
the turtle beach chat cable doesnt work with steelseries h wireless.

I just bought the steelseries h wireless and the xbox one headset adapter . If anyone knows how to set it up to make the party chat and game chat work properly please let me know.

Just a question regarding the chat feature. Will we One owners need to always use this chat adapter.? I also have the SteelSeries H Wireless headset and am wondering if Microsoft will enable chat via the USB ports on the console so we don't have to use this
(foolish) chat adapter. Thanks, and Please advise.

Jet there should have been a wire that came with the headset adapter. Don't use share use the chat. Share is for connecting another steelseries headset. The issue I'm having is with chat. When I plug in the adapter I loose all chat. I can hear game sounds
no chat. I may just use the Kinect for voice because steelseries customer support is nonexistent

Hey, what exactly are your issues as I recently started having issues with mine as well. They worked great for about a year and then one day I joined a party and went to adjust the chat/game mix. Whenever I turn up the chat volume it's like the sound effects
for the game turn up with the music on the headset's game channel. I know it sounds really odd. I can barely hear anyone during multiplayer now. Steelseries was unable to help.

If you are just curious how to initially set up your headset to your XBO I can tell you how mine is set up and worked for the first year. I plugged an optical cable from the XBO to the headset's wireless box. I then set up a profile for Xbox on the wireless
box. That should give you game audio. To get the chat features you plug the provided cable from SteelSeries from the chat adapter/game controller to the plug on your headset.
