Rehashing this again all. I bought a good headset that I personally really like in the steel series h. Friends are still killing me for the buzzing during chat generated from my mic though

Im using the stereo chat adapter And noticed many others with ssh in the past with same problem

Anyone find a solution? Any feedback is appreciated.

Looking for a surround headset

Hi alfredo,

I have the SteelSeries H wireless headset myself and can confirm it works great with the Xbox One. If you want to use voice chat, however, you will need the Xbox One Headset Adaptor as well (sold separately).

If you do purchase the H wireless, I promise you won't be disappointed. This headset is rated VERY highly, just see here for some reviews on it:

SteelSeries H wireless headset - Buzzing issue for people who hear me through mic

I have just recently started using a h wireless headset with my xbox one, it is working awesome!! except I have one issue, when I am talking to anyone in the game using the headset (Via chat cable into the xbox one official adapter and using the 2.5mm -
3.5mm official cable I am having problem. They can hear me but whenever I speak there is a buzzing noise as well as my voice it happens mostly as I come to the end of what I am saying. Any ideas as I really want to fix this

From the looks of it, this headset may not be compatible with Xbox One. If you want to use a headset with the Xbox One, I would recommend taking this back and getting another model. Note that this link says "at this time mic doesn't work". As such I would
recommend contacting the manufacturer to see if there is an update to this.

To OP if surround sound is so important to you (game changer) then buy a decent headset that gets it audio from the optical port for game audio and not through a stereo jack on an adaptor.

I have the Steel series wireless H and they are fantastic, work totally wireless on ps4 but needs a cable to the Xone adaptor for chat, comes with 2 batteries with a base station for charging and each battery has 20 hour of gaming before needs charging.

Consider switching to the updated wireless headset or the steel series Arctis 7x both are great options.

I just bought the steelseries h wireless and the xbox one headset adapter . If anyone knows how to set it up to make the party chat and game chat work properly please let me know.
