Add Steam Support/Games to the App

I'd like to see my steam games in the windows app. It'd be really cool if there was some integration within the app for steam or in steam for the xbox app. As it is, I can't put any steam games into the xbox app and use it as my one source for launching
games.

Xbox Live is the ONLY official online service for Xbox. Steam is for PC! Xbox Live is for consoles. If you want Steam, play PC! I know Cities Skylines is out on Xbox 1 finally. The PC version of this game uses Steam. It's up to the game developers, and whether
Microsoft will allow it, on Xbox, since MICROSOFT are in charge of Xbox. But since only THE MINORITY of people, play on consoles, compared to PC's, there isn't much support for it on console. The majority of people do have their own computer at home, though.

Steam for Xbox One

It will never, never, never ever, ever happen, and I'll give you the one main reason why.

Microsoft gets a cut of every Xbox game sold, doesn't matter if its bought through the Xbox Store or from a shop, they get a cut.

If you were able to buy a game from Steam and then transfer it over to the Xbox, Microsoft wouldn't get that cut.

9. Games moving services isn't out of the realms of possibility. You can move certain Steam games from Valve's service over to GoG run by CD Projekt. They don't get money to allow this but it does bring them a lot of goodwill from their customers.

So what would be the benefit for Microsoft in this scenario. Well I could understand them not allowing the move of current gen games from Steam, such as Quantum Break, they want to push their own PC store after all.

Why not do it like this. You enter your Steam account name, Microsoft scan your games and they allow you to bring Xbox 360 generation titles such as Alan Wake, Fable III, and The Witcher 2, across to be played on that person's shiny new Xbox One.

Microsoft get goodwill from their existing customers, they get people who are more likely to buy into the Xbox brand knowing they have a catalogue of games ready to play at no extra cost, and they get to datamine Steam users account information for info on
the types of games PC users are playing.

Hard to see the downside for any party in that scenario.

[Halo Infinite] xbox play anywhere problem between steam and xbox version

Play anywhere does not work with steam as steam is their own thing

The reason why you can cross play on steam and xbox one is because of waypoint

Not steam

Steam coming to Xbox ?

I think Steam is coming to Xbox One, but not in the form of an app with the Steam frontend or access to Steam sales etc.

I think what we might see is a lot of the games on Steam come over to Xbox One and vice versa. Maybe Ms will release a wireless Xbox keyboard and mouse too!

Can we at least agree one one thing? If you are PRO Steam, you are PRO DRM Xbox One? Or is it different because one is a console and one is a PC?
No, it's actually different. We don't know if we would be getting Steam-like deals if DRM was on the Xbox One.
So would the Steam-like deals be the only difference between Steam and a DRM Xbox?
