There is no such thing, it's available to PS4, Sony didn't feel it was right for them, that comment epitomises what GG was getting at in the other thread,

On topic, Steam on Xbox ? I would not say no, but as others have posted, it's seems unlikely for a few reasons.

I checked Steam it's due out June 2018, not long to go. Frontier did say the game is coming to Xbox too.

I'm not touchy, just stating facts, an exclusive is something that one console has that the other has no access to, as Sony have the option of EA Access it is NOT exclusive to Xbox.

 

Well they don't have access to it any more, so it's exclusive. It's got exclusive to Xbox stamped all the hell over it. I don't even care, as I'm not competing with Sony, but your argument is just bizarre,

You see what you want to see. It was offered to Sony, and they refused. Therefore, EA came to us with it, and offered it to us. Now they don't have it, and we do. It is not available to them. They cannot use it. Now we're done.

Look mate, I'm not trying to have a go at you, but I really can't see how you think it's not exclusive. I guess I just don't see this the way you do. To me it's clear as day, we have it they don't you know? If you've got another angle, more power to you.

Guys, in my line of thinking, EA Access is CURRENTLY exclusive to the Xbox. Whether that may change or not based on whether Sony decides to change its mind, we'll have to wait and see.

 

I think Steam is coming to Xbox One, but not in the form of an app with the Steam frontend or access to Steam sales etc.

I think what we might see is a lot of the games on Steam come over to Xbox One and vice versa. Maybe Ms will release a wireless Xbox keyboard and mouse too!

 

Not gonna happen... and for many reasons... and the chief sticking point would be Steam's OPEN Network policies (something that separates their robust platform from ALL of the others) which encourages creativity amongst its users, whilst Microsoft's CLOSED
Network terms punish creativity with Lifetime Banishment. Invest in a Gaming PC if you want to enjoy the World's Number ONE Gaming Network, or keep trying to convince yourselves that the XBOX ONE has better gaming options, the choice is yours...

 

I actually don't care so much for steam itself coming to xbox one; I just really want all these amazing survival horror indie games to come. The only game in that genre coming to xbox that I know of is Grave (not including outlast as it's already on xbox,
which is great ). I think The Forest will eventually make its way here, too.

 

@Galatic Didn't seem harsh too me. Just looked like another person upset at MS for whatever reason and can't accept that some people do find enjoyment on the platform.
