    Hi

    My son has a new headset and the microphone is not working. He can hear everyone in the party chat, but they cant heat him. Causing untold stress lol. Have tried plugging thr headphones into a phone and the microphone works fine. So not a faulty headset. Ive tried looking for a solution in google and cant seem to find the problem. If anyone had ang suggestions we would really apprecite it. Thank you

    Follow the steps in this support page, Update xbox wireless controller. This needs to be done on all controllers you may use. The uSB method is my preference.

    It's a wireless headset, and I only have one controller. I got this headset since my last one got damaged after years of use, and this new headset connects to my Xbox just fine, it's the headset's microphone that isn't working. Plus this headset is quite different than my previous one, which was a Turtle Beach Stealth 600, so I'm not sure if I can isolate anything.
