    Stealth 700 turtle beach headset won’t unmute


    I have the stealth 700 turtle beach headset for Xbox and everything works normally but I can’t talk. I used my wired controller and I could talk fine but when I switched to a regular wireless controller it won’t let me talk anymore. My mic is flipped in the unmuted position and I only have the Xbox dongle plugged in

    Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10 not working.

    The headset is a Turtle beach stealth 600 gen 2 which does not have bluetooth support.
    The stealth 700 is the one with bluetooth.

    the sound quality of wired headsets are generally better but the higher end more expensive wireless headsets are pretty good these days, i have a pair of turtle beach stealth 700 and i love them great wireless headset but upgraded to the turtle beach elite
    pro 2 and damn is there a difference

    Wireless headset

    Headset is turtle beach stealth 700. Push pairing button on xbox, and on headset, both lights flash until the console gives up. Light on headset continuously flashes.

    I managed to pair the headset to my phone, so I know that works.

    Any help is appreciated.

    I like the Turtle Beach Stealth 700. It uses Windows Sonic for surround sound, and is Dolby Atmos compatible.

    The Stealth 800X is 7.1 surround, and can be found on sale for around $180

    Most of the rest of the Xbox Surround Sound Headsets run above the $200 mark.
