    Stealth 700 party mixer


    Since the latest console update for the Series X my party chat mixer will not work at all the volume wheel on the headset controls one half of the chat mixer and the mapable wheel controls the other. Even when the xbox says party audio is max I still hear game sound like it's not changed at all I have zero control over the sliders and when they do move by using the headset the audio remains the same am absolutely stumped as to what's going on

    The headset used is the Turtle beach Steal 700 Gen 2 with latest update

    Any help would be much appreciated

    What Model Turtle Beaches do you Have? Some models have a built in chat mixer that makes the xbox mixer useless. ex. Stealth 600/700 the two models I personally own that have the mixer built in and make the console mixer useless.

    So I'm not sure about the specifics for why the audio settings disappear with the cord plugged in -- but I do think I have a pretty easy fix for what you're looking for.

    I use Turtle Beach Stealth 600, but from what I looked up, the 700s also have the independent game/chat volume controls on the headset.
    If you're wanting to only hear party chat in the headset, simply turn the game volume down on the headset itself and turn up the volume on your tv.
    You shouldn't have to use the Xbox audio system to just have party chat in the headset when using Stealth 700s since the headset itself has a mixer.

    The headset is a Turtle beach stealth 600 gen 2 which does not have bluetooth support.
    The stealth 700 is the one with bluetooth.
