    "Stay Gold, renew now" message still up


    ive recently renewed my Xbox Live Gold subscription, but the message on the home screen telling me to renew is still displayed. is there any way to get my home screen back to simply displaying deals and new games?

    Hello, Anonymous Tom.

    It did the exact same thing to me too, maybe it's just a glitch. It said mine was expiring soon and to re-new so I bought a 12 Month prepaid code and it said that for quite a while even after redeeming it.

    So best thing really to do is to just let it go away in it's own time. Mine eventually did.

    Hi! I also renewed my xbox. But on my console, when I try new games or deals, keep asking me to be a GOLD. Looks like my console does not know I am GOLD.... I do not know WHY.

    ps: Yes, I am connected to XLive with my account.

    Nickdog - this is a glitch in the system that will go away once the actual date of the renewal passes.

    cavalheiro - if you added the membership from the website it can take some time for it to populate your account. Please try going to Settings>System>Network and run a Connection Test. This should speed it up for you.
