    "Stay Gold: Renew Now!" Ad will NOT go away!


    My Xbox Live Gold was set to expire on 9/14/14. I had a spare $25, so I went and got a 3-month and renewed on September 5th.



    Now, I've still had that stupid ad on my Dashboard ever since then, even as of this writing.



    I even called Xbox Support and was on the phone with them for OVER AN HOUR, and they couldn't firgure it out either.

    I've done all I can. Deleted & Re-DL'd my Profile, Cleared Cache, even Live Support helped to cancel my Account and reactivate it to see if that would work.

    Nope.

    I didn't even know Chivalry: Medival Warfare was coming to 360, due to the FRICKIN' ad infesting my Dash.

    This is HIGHLY aggrivating, and I'm sure I'm missing out on a lot of cool stuff.



    Any (mature) help would be appreciated!

    Hi! I also renewed my xbox. But on my console, when I try new games or deals, keep asking me to be a GOLD. Looks like my console does not know I am GOLD.... I do not know WHY.

    ps: Yes, I am connected to XLive with my account.

    Hello, Anonymous Tom.

    It did the exact same thing to me too, maybe it's just a glitch. It said mine was expiring soon and to re-new so I bought a 12 Month prepaid code and it said that for quite a while even after redeeming it.

    So best thing really to do is to just let it go away in it's own time. Mine eventually did.

    Did your ad ever go away? I'm having the same problem right now & I would love to fix it. I was having problems with xbox live not letting me renew gold before hand too. I had to wait for it to expire before it would let me do anything.

    It's an advertisement. I have it too. They are wanting you to renew your gold at a special price. But I can't get the link to work.

    Hey, where does it show it? Like right on the home screen? And are u still able to play multiplayer games? Cause it shows you as a gold member on the forums. Are u sure it's not just a advertisement?

    My Xbox 360 Dashboard never changes - anyone know why not?

    I have this exact same problem. The ads on the other tabs change but since Xmas '13, the main box on the Home screen tab has remained the Stay Gold: Renew now one.

    Obviously I have renewed. Got 2 years queued up in fact. I've tried deleting the cache and deleting/recovering my profile but nothing seems to fix this strange issue.

    Anyone have any ideas?
