Statutory Rights for a refund

So we bought a copy of Batman Arkham and it crashes the Xbox x - gives an exception error and spend two weeks trying to reste, reinstall but the Xbox is junked and will need a total reinstall of all games. Applied for a refund and keep getting told that im 2 days over the 14 days for a digital refund. I keep telling them that the game not only isnt working but has caused havoc on teh Xbox and still the same answer wishing me a nice day.

I know my statutory rights for a purchase of faulty goods and have requested contact details to their legal dept, no reply

Anyone else had an issue as I'd rather not get a solicitor involved but feel badly treated and ripped off

digital items are the same on all platforms, no refunds after 14 days or after 2 hours of play, as the game was not working all that time then why did you not seek a refund before the time was reached. when purchasing you agree to the terms for the digital refund limit.

reply to the denied email you got and explain the situation to see if they can overturn it. did you ring or contact support within that 14 days to see about fixing the issue, if not why not.

Farscape isn't the refund department nor does he work for xbox

He's just a volunteer like the rest of us

You would have to wait for the arbitrator as you did aggree in the terms of use for arbitration not sure if you need a lawyer to represent you for arbitration though

Best bet xbox support for immediate help. But you would.have to go thru the troubleshooting steps

I asked for advice not the spanish inquisition, please if you are going to answer, try to have a ounce of politeness.

In answer, I bought it for my son after he came out of hospital and he wasn't well enough to load it up immediately, when he did, it crashed and caused huge issues, so I requested a refund !

If the console is not functioning correctly you can return to the retailer for a refund. It's your statutory rights. Item sold must be fit for purpose.
