I rented The Hunger Games this morning, then I went downstairs for a few hours so turned the XBOX off. Went back to it and while it says the licence has 1 day and 21 hours remaining, the error message is coming up. Should've known Microsoft wouldn't even
be able to keep their own system under control. Useless company. Time and time again they prove their incompetence to me. Of course, you can phone them and give them even more money...

I am now having the same problem. It says "The license for this video has expired. To play it, rent it again at eh Xbox Video Store.

803c0009 and the license time period notification at the same time?

That particular
error code could be displaying for few reasons. Let's see if we can resolve it by first trying these steps:

• Try to watch The Hunger Games again through Xbox Video

I believe if you refresh your purchase history in the app, it will fix it.

Open the Xbox Video app > Go to My Videos > Select Account Management > Press the X button. Give it a few minutes to run, then try playing your rented movie again.
