Status code "42FE - 0000 - 0080 - 0300 - 8007 - 2751

Whenever I log onto Xbox it wont connect me to Xbox live when i troubleshoot the connection to Xbox live my internet wont connect to the Xbox live. I've tried to copy the update onto my flash drive and it didn't work I'm getting very frustrated.

How do you copy it to the flash drive ?

 

Have same problems as you but maybe this will work try clearing system cache didn't work for me but for you maybe

 

This is not the first time for me and this code.. unfortunately I can never figure out why it comes up...

 

IT WILL NOT WORK IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH OUR IQUPMENT ITS THE UPDATE IT SELF DO NOT DO ANYTHING TO YOUR EQUIPMENT THA FINALLY PUT UP THE SERVICE ALERT I KILLED MY XBOX AND ROUTER GOING THROUGH THE STEPS DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID HAVE TO WAIT

Same problem here, Microsoft I've had an Xbox and Live since the beginning and the past to week's has been horrible. I'm so frustrated that I pay for live, Netflix, I even picked up HBO from Comcast because of live. I have two Xbox's my son and I can't use
either one. I have call of duty advance warfare with the dlc pack and I can't play.

 

Same here. But after turning off a number of times the April update happened I popped in a game got to the boss and blam Banner stating that I needed to be signed into Xbox live. I reset router and now nothing .Also on my Chrome Browser on this pc on xbox
live . com the HTTPS has a yellow error stating a certificate thingy .I also cleared my cache. I hope to see you on the Battlefield soon Soldiers .

Sorry to hear about the update error! I can definitely understand how frustrating the could be. If you are continuing to run into this error code, I recommend trying a few troubleshooting steps:

• First, clear your Xbox 360 system cache 3 times.
  
• Power cycle your Xbox 360 console.
  
• Once your console is powered on, try downloading the update again.

If you are still unable to download the update, copy the update from your computer to a USB flash drive by trying the following steps:

Note The USB flash drive must use the FAT32 file system. For information about how to format a USB flash drive, see the “Format a USB flash drive” section of Xbox 360 USB flash
drive support.

1. Plug your USB flash drive into a USB port on your computer.
2. Download the update file.
   
3. Click Save to save the console update .zip file on your computer.
4. Unzip the file. If you are using Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7, double-click the .zip file to unzip it.
   
5. Copy the contents of the .zip file to the root directory of your USB flash drive (for example, E:\). Do not copy the contents to another folder on the USB flash drive (for example, E:\Files).
   
6. Unplug the USB flash drive from your computer.
7. Plug the flash drive into a USB port on your Xbox 360 console.
8. Restart the console.
9. When the console restarts, the installation program starts automatically. Select Yes when you are prompted to update the new console software.

Why the hell do I need to go through a flash drive? Can't xbox make there updates work on there OWN system.

is it possible that i can compress the file so it can update because the updated is too big for the usb
