Status Code 40A3-0000-0080-0300-8007-000F

Hi there,

Can anybody give me an idea on what this status code is? I have looked on the xbox site with no success.

I have an Xbox 360 and I am trying to connect to Xbox live. I gets as far as connecting to the internet but fails to connect to live.

It says that there is an update to download but when I try it comes up with this status code 40A3-0000-0080-0300-8007-000F

Any Advice?

this happens to me and its really starting to get on my nerves any help from anyone would be extremely useful

Error code: 8007-000F

This may mean that a storage device (memory unit or hard drive) was not found during the update.

Solutions

To resolve this problem, try the following solutions:

1. Turn off your console.
2. Remove all storage devices, including any USB flash drives, external hard drives or the internal hard drive, on the Xbox 360 E console or the Xbox 360 S console. Learn how to remove the hard drive.
   
3. Add your primary storage device, for example, the hard drive.
4. Turn on the console.
5. Try updating the console again.

Thanks for the help. Followed the advice and it worked a treat. Peace has now returned to the house as I have happy kids again.

 

We had the same problem for 2 days and talked to support did everything and nothing worked. Finally today I went to system settings and into storage and hard drive and cleared system cache. It showed the bar for a second trying to clear and popped off.
So I pulled the hard drive out of the console and left it out and turned it off and also turned my router off and left for about 10 minutes. Turned router back on and let it boot then turned the console on and it did the update without a problem. So go
clear system cache then pull out hard drive and turn off and the router and reboot. We've never had a problem before but my son's been playing about 2 hours with no problem now. He did have to put the hard drive back in later. Hope this helps.
