    Hello my nephew just received an xbox 360 for Christmas. It was a used console. When you power it up a window pops up that reads. system update stopped. Can't read the update from the disc. Please reinsert the disc to continue the up date. status code 4099-43C5-2800-0F00-C000-0034.
    Went in on the xbox support and did an error code search and it did not find such code in its search files. I'm thinking the hard drive is smoked. Looking for some good help and advice

    Xbox360 cannot read update from storage device.... I I purchased a brand new hard drive 500 MB and I am still getting the same error code as before it.
