    We have been trying to watch the movie (the Upside) for almost a week and the subject title is the status code we get whenever we try to log in to Microsoft movies as of late. What can be done to rectify this issue. I would like a refund for the movie
    since we paid for something we cant even watch and this has been my 3rd request on the matter. Thank you

    a gold membership for just as long. My wife and I watch movies every weekend through our xbox 360 using microsoft movies & TV. I think I am deserving of a status update relative to 80C90010 due to my long tenure as a microsoft/Xbox customer. Please provide
    a status update ASAP as well as an ETA on the resolvement of the issue. Also, please escalate my message as far up the chain as you can.

    Still no solution that I'm aware of. There are now several other threads about the same problem.

    Are members with "Ambassador" status actually Microsoft employees, or is it a case of Microsoft outsourcing support to their customers? And why is it that nobody can say what causes status code 80C90010 to be generated?

    Further, as others have noted, testing the Xbox Live connection flags a Service Alert, yet when you go to the website there are no alerts current. Possibly this is another manifestation of the bug. I suspect that when the Movies & TV app was updated, it
    broke something for Xbox 360 users.
