Static Sound at Random

Recently, I’d say this past week or so-I’ve been having random and spontaneous fits of static in my sound. It’s like buffers but static noises. It’s really annoying and makes me not want to even try getting online anymore. It happens in party chat, game
sounds, and in apps such as Youtube, Netflix, and Hulu. I’ve tried two headsets from completely different companies, I’ve swapped out controllers, restarted my console, restarted the apps, left and rejoined parties, unplugged and plugged in mics, and they
all still end with the static. It isn’t always constant- sometimes it disappears for long periods of time. I assumed my sound was so loud that I could hear the static, but that was not the case. All of my audio options are set to Stereo Uncompressed. I have
two theories, one is that I might need a new xbox because it’s fairly old, or it’s my internet. My internet is always bad during the evening which is usually when the static occurs, but when I checked my ping it said 46, but the packet loss was at 4% so I’m
not sure. If my theories sound absurd, It’s because they are. I genuinely don’t know what the problem might be, please respond if you think you have the solution!
