The last several days my xbox one has lost connectivity to xbox live. I can reset my wireless and wired network, but once it connects, checks the network and says it's all good, within seconds I lose all services again. If I do another network check, it
says additional authentication needed or use alt MAC address. If I click on authenticate, it goes to a pop-up trying to get you to download an app for COVID-19 updates. I assume it's a virus and from what I can find it's tied to Gstatic, but how do I get this
off the xbox one? Can I try to remote in or connect to a pc to clean it out or do I have to do a full reset? I'd rather not do the full reset since it blocks that internet and I'd lose everything, but if it's the only way? Never had a potential virus on any
xbox I've owned before, so a little out of ideas.

In order to make your IP stay constant, you will want to set a static IP. You can do this on your Xbox One by going to Network Settings -> Set up Network, and you will be able to set your own IP address.

The only downloads I've done recently were Call of Duti Modern Warfare: Warzone and some of the associated bundles, is it possible something could also come from an app like Vudu or Roku?

I'm about to do a reset, just wasn't excited about the prospect of losing everything, and was hoping there would be another way.

The Xbox really isn't vulnerable to viruses that I know of, but a full reset should wipe everything and restore it all back to OG settings. Sounds like you may have downloaded something that is messing with your connection.
