Static Noise and Crackling in Games and Dashboard

Hello there I was wondering whether anyone else is having problems with Audio on the Xbox one. For me i've got slight popping and static noises coming through the sound. Its not loud or to intrusive but it is noticeable.

I've tried everything to get rid of it. Swapping HDMI cables, replacing the optical wire, hard reset, clearing the cache, swapping all the settings around and nothing seems to cure it.

The biggest problem is this isn't my first xbox one. The first was replaced due to this fault, the second because of stuttering blu-ray playback and now this one has got this static problem again. Is this a general software fault with xbox's that a patch
will eventually sort out? I hope so because im about ready to give up and just use my PS4 for everthing now as I have haven't had any issues (touch wood) with that system.

Headset crackling

My headset (rig 600) is crackling and making a static noise. My headset is fine but what settings should i to get rid of the staic noises?

 

Sound cuts out????

Does anyone get a weird crackling sound like a slight static noise through their tv sometimes?

 

Sounds like a hardware fault. My advice would be return to the retailer and get a replacement. Every console comes with a 12 month warranty.

The Xbox One hardware is very unreliable and I had to return mine due to fan noise and overheating issues. I'm waiting for the Xbox One Slim which is rumoured to be announced soon. It will be quieter, smaller and more efficient.

 

Mmmmm id be inclined to think the same way if it wasn't for the fact that ive already had two returns on my units and im on my third now. Thats why it makes me think its possibly a software problem.
