Static Flashes

Does anyone know what might be causing this?



The console signal keeps flashing static every 5 seconds for one second. Has any one had the same issue?

I have tried different displays and HDMI cables, turning on/off the system. Unplugging HDMI through. No luck.

I am currently about to backup the system to do a system restore, hoping it is a driver issue and not hardware.

It did this briefly yesterday but a power cycle had fixed it. Today I can not stop it.

Xbox One intermittent flashing "snowy" screen.

Hey there, Pema! We are currently still investigating the black screen flashes. The snowy/static screen and HDCP errors were the ones resolved recently. Please keep an eye on that thread for updates on the black screen flashes!

It would make sense if an emp caused nothing but static on headsets .............. I hate flash nades. they always blind me seemingly worse than the enemy.

 

Has it worked properly before?

Power Cycle (~15sec hold powerButton untill full power down) unplug Power supply wait 30sec. than restart has not fixed it?

Can you check the Settings if they on 50 or 60 Hz.

Perhaps there is also an update for your TV available?

Does it also happens when Kinect is unplugged?

I'm glad it was that simple and nothing to do with the hardware failure.

I'm really happy with my xbone so far, coming from a Sony in last gen. Just waiting for the awesome games to drop, starting of next year.

BTW My system is doing the same thing. seems to be after an update because it is something new. I figured out to hold down the power button and yes that does work but it has happened 3 times already since about 2.5 weeks ago.

 

I'm having the same issue. I hope a fix is coming soon.

 

Me as well, same issue - has been for about 3 weeks, I've unplugged, and hard reset, must do this every few days, very annoying

 

Why's turning it off marked as the answer, that only works as a temp solution, the problem comes back.

 

This question is NOT answered. Power cycling the console every hour is NOT a solution.

 

Ok I've rejected as people are still experiencing this. I have had it happen once more after initial time. So a hard reset is only a temp fix.

 

They are on it. Sorry for trouble, But you have a Temp fix.. shure it will be fixed next update

 

My console is doing the same thing. The hard reset does work, but that is only a temporary fix. Sometimes it is a flash like the youtube video and sometimes the static stays on the whole time the console is on.

 

Having the same issue, have been in contact with xbox support multiple times now but nothing has fixed the issue. Anyone know what is causing this? This happens to me once everyday or 2. Very annoying.
