State of mind crashes on pc (gamepass)

So I started playing State of mind today where a few hours into it, it started to freeze and then crash. everything is upto date on my machine. any else experience the same problem?

System Model: MS-7B17

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-9900K CPU @ 3.60GHz (16 CPUs), ~3.6GHz

DirectX Version: DirectX 12
Graphics card gtx 1080 ti founder edition 11gb

Think I did get an error but cant remember what code it used.

I since my post i have been playing it without any crashing although there was occasionally graphic lag. Would happen when playing a cutscene. the character would move out of position then back again while the cutscene was playing.

Keep in mind they have to be in the same region as you if they are in the newly expanded pc xbox gamepass regions it wont work since only gamepass pc will work there and they have to be in the Windows insiders program

no error messages, the game never technically crash, just never load.

no issues with any other games on PC gamepass, or computer in general.

do you have an xbox, if not you only need gamepass for pc not ultimate - also as stated in the comment below, are you trying to install on your surface.

also gta V leaves gamepass very soon.
