Apparently, changing my sons birthday to make him 18 and turning off content restriction does nothing according to customer support. Their recommendations:

1. Level 1 - Restart your XBOX - Even though I was providing the redemption code on PC via my son's XBOX account

2. Escalated to Level 2 - Their suggestion? Create a new fake account with age over 18.

30 minutes of my life I want back.

This is absolutely absurd. Why have family controls and/or the ability to change birth date if the function(s) do absolutely nothing?

Any work around?

Missing state of decay 2 ultimate edition

i recently purchased state of decay 2 ultimate edition. I have not received a copy of state of decay 1, and the store says I own the standard copy of state of decay 2 even I bought and was charged for the ultimate

Good afternoon what is best game state of decay 2 or call of duty zombies part.

Hard to compare 2 games that are quite different, IMO i would say state of decay 2 for the open world do you want style of gameplay.

well no you misunderstand the issue

It's a legal issue

Game ratings are enforced

He can play but legally you have to buy it for him on your account not his due to copa

Are you buying from the MS store or.xbox store on your console if you are using a prepaid currency card you gotta use it on your console not the ms store

Parental settings only apply to xbox marketplace

So if the prepaid code is a xbox currency card on the ms store (found on the url)

No you can never change the age of an account until it reaches 18

State Of Decay, I saw a friend playing it & gave it a download, ended up loving it and bought the State Of Decay YOSE on Xbox One and State Of Decay 2 years later.
