State of decay 2, Xbox One, Mouse and keyboard

We understand that you're experiencing an issue in reference to the ability to use keyboard and mouse for the game State of Decay 2 on your Xbox One console.

The console is in full support of mouse and keyboard, but some games/apps would need developer approval for this function to coincide with the game itself.

Ive had to just try the mouse in all my games since the keyboard works with alot of games like state of decay 2 but the mouse doesnt work, i wish the games atleast put “MKB Compatible” in the game capabilities section on the xbox store even games we know
for a fact they work on dont have it anywhere itd be a huge selling point to me especially single player games since my MKB are basic ones so just try mouse first on your games cause keyboard will just excite you till the you realize the mouse dont...

First, welcome to the Xbox community. I'm sorry you're having this problem.

I believe that when switching accounts the keyboard is probably disabled within the game, check in the controller's settings within the state of decay 2 if there is the option to switch from controllers to keyboard and mouse. Use the joystick to navigate to the required option.

*Note: Do this from the account you are having this issue on.

State Of Decay, I saw a friend playing it & gave it a download, ended up loving it and bought the State Of Decay YOSE on Xbox One and State Of Decay 2 years later.

Mouse and keyboard support on Xbox One support article, "Xbox supports the use of mouse and keyboard in some games and apps, but it doesn’t work for every game or app. The game or app publisher must enable this feature
for their content." You should be fine with most devices.
