State of decay 2 Wont attempt to join friend

I am on pc

So im having a problem to where i try to join.The game wont even attempt to connect or show any signs of connecting, it just doesnt respond to me trying to join. The game was working find the day before and now it wont do anything, so i restarted the computer
and it isnt doing anything, restarted the app. I really dont want to reinstall the game as i might lose progress.

So I was having the this same problem. A Microsoft tech tried to help for probably 6 hours total one day and 4 hour the next. He went through almost everything, nothing was working. A website wasn't letting me log in so I ended up looking in to it. I found
it was a time problem in the setting. I manually set the time because the auto setting was wrong. I changed the setting to auto and the website let me log in. I then just had the idea that maybe that was the problem for State of Decay 2. I opened it up and
it worked. I want to share this for other people, so if this helps you please chick the (this helped me) button. Hope this helps you.

Thanks for posting on the Xbox forums. We understand that State of Decay 2 is not responding when you try to join a friend who is playing on the Xbox One. What is the NAT type? You can locate the NAT type in the network settings of the Xbox Console
Companion App. We recommend that you and your friend have open NAT types for the best connection to each other. We suggest making sure that

Windows 10 is up to date. Also, you want to make sure that you and your friend are playing on the same version of the game. So you may want to check for updates on the game.

By the way, your saved data for the game is
uploaded to the Xbox Cloud as long as your computer is connected to Xbox Live. Uninstalling and reinstalling the game will not affect your saved data if your saved data has been uploaded to the Xbox Cloud. Be sure to let us know the results

When I try to join a multiplayer game on State of Decay 2 Juggernaut, it says unable to connect game- you must have a populated community to join the game. One friend was able to join but I can not. WHY?

State Of Decay, I saw a friend playing it & gave it a download, ended up loving it and bought the State Of Decay YOSE on Xbox One and State Of Decay 2 years later.

How many person do you have in your community(or how many person do you have in state of decay 2)

My guest is you need more person for multiplayer.
