state of decay 2 ultimate edition preorder /year one dlc code

missed the first state of decay...and decided to buy game of the year edition...then i saw the state of decay 2 ultimate edition...saw that it came with other dlc and the year one edition...said in description i would receive code shortly...now i find out
i have to wait 7/10 days to receive code for the year one edition....if i had known this i would just bought them both seperatly....and would be playing year one edition now....is this the way it allways works....i recently jumped back to xbox with a purchase
of a one X....any help or guidance please....

State of Decay 2: Ultimate Edition will receive a code for State of Decay: Year One Survival Edition in their Xbox Live message center shortly before the launch of State of Decay 2 so there's no reason to worry.

I bought the State of Decay 2: Ultimate Edition preorder and have not yet received the product code for the State of Decay: Year One Survival Edition. I'm just wondering what's up.. Will I get it via e-mail or message on Xbox Live or what?

 

Yes, that generally is how promotions work. Codes are usually never sent immediately after purchase. 7-10 days is not that long of a wait. A lot of times you have to wait until the new game is released.

 

yeah but sent soon in the promotions description doesnt sound like 7/10 days...anyway thanks for your reply i will wait for it then if thats the way it is....noted for next time....thank you...

 

i notice now the description that it says code willbe sent shortly before game is launched....in good faith microsoft should supply codes to the people it has misinformed....very deceitful.....this will make sure i never preorder again....

the description was edited after i brought it up on these forums....to state what it does now....i read the description and it said sent shortly..it is not my fault whoever wrote the description worded it wrong... if i had known i wouldnt have preordered
the ultimate edition....im 50 years old dlc incentives mean nothing to me... you know the description has been changed to what it is now....why would i bother to preorder to have state of decay year one edition days before state of decay 2 is released...if
the dezcription stated what it has nowbeen edited too then i would have just bought it on its own...shame i didnt pay on my card....sneaky underhand tactics...you know clearly the description has now been edited!...how do i get a full refund? i thought it
was only sony who treated its customers as idiots....
