    Do Power Cicle on your Xbox, press and hold Power Button for 10 seconds and wait 2 minutes then turn Xbox on again

    If It doesn't work You could unistall the game and install It again

    Sound comes back, after exiting and restarting the game, Xbox notification still works after sound crashes, I've re-installed the game and the problem is still there. it seems to happen when the I driving the Rhames V.

    Just to clarify, this is the only game you are having issues with correct?

    Please try a Soft reset: keep games and apps and see if that fixes the issue.

    How to reset your console to factory defaults on Xbox One    .

    Make sure to also check with the developers Forum/troubleshoot page or chat to see if this is a known issue.

    I had a bad download and the same thing happend.. Uninstalling the game and reinstallng should fix your issue.

    I'm having a sound crash issue too. I'll tag onto this post before I start a new one. My issue started after the 4.0/4.1 update. From what I can tell, this only happens when I'm driving a vehicle. All of a sudden, there would be loud static burst, and then
    silence, no sound at all, in the pause menu as well. Game still runs, but I don't hear anything. To get sound back, I hit the Home button and go to the Home screen. I select State of Decay icon and return to the game, with audio back on. If I'm still driving,
    I can hear the static burst again, almost immediately, or after a few minutes, seems random. Doesn't seem to happen when I'm on foot. Any ideas? I'm playing on Xbox One.
