    State of decay 2 Session error


    So the last time I played the game was few days ago and the game was running great was playing online with friends, today I had to do a fresh install of windows 10 with my drivers for my hardware now I did a format so everything is fresh installed, the xbox
    app says I got no problems with connecting, forza 3 can go online without any problems, but state of decay 2 no matter how many times I reinstall it just gives me a session error every time can someone tell me what is going on. as I am ready feeling like I
    am wasting my money on the Microsoft app store as things don't always open or go online, the last problem I had was forza 3 my game save files was messed up so I had to start all over again and I was pretty far into the game.

    We are all playing on PC. It was fine about a week ago. We have tried connecting to each others' communities and it does the same thing. We have both tried clean installs and that did not work

    Hi drinds,

    Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. We'd be happy to help.

    Are you playing on the Xbox One? Or is someone on PC playing cross platform?

    If other multiplayer games work then the servers may be going through some maintenance.

    If you are playing on an Xbox One console, have you tested your network to make sure your NAT is OPEN and all services are available? On PC it should be the same on the Xbox app.

    What troubleshooting have you done?

    Let us know that information and we can figure out how we can solve this issue if possible.

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    Please perform an extended powercycle and reset your network hardware by following the steps below:

    1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

    2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

    3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

    4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.
