State of Decay 2 "Restrictions on your account: Error 1008"

I am sorry you are having issues with my favorite game SoD2 @DrGolbs. Rather than repeat here all of the details I have used in correcting connection issues I am giving you the link.

go have a snack because it takes a while), and making sure my computer time is synced properly (something that luckily rarely happens, but when it does it wreaks havoc).

Rebooting the PC partially clears up a lot of the items that these steps should clear up until some unforeseen event.

Just showed him your reply and he said he does not have a proxy.

from what i can tell it could be a proxy issue, go into microsoft edge and change the proxy by way of the start menu and that should fix your issue.
