    State of Decay 2: Juggernaut Edition Launch Issue


    Please help!!!

    I am trying to play State of Decay 2: Juggernaut Edition on my PC. I was able to successfully install the game and play the first time. I was only able to host games, but could not join my friends' games.
    Upon returning to play the game later, I was unable to even launch the game. The XBOX (beta) app and XBOX console companion app would not react when trying to launch by clicking Play. The Microsoft Store states "This app encountered a problem. Please reinstall
    or repair." I have done this three times now. Every time i reinstall the game, after the initial launch is closed, this prompt shows up and I must reinstall the game all over to launch it again.

    I have tried repairing, resetting, and even double checked the XBOX Online services to ensure there is internet connection, Teredo is not blocked, and the NAT type is open. I have attempted to follow the
    "Updated Windows 10 version" help tips to see if this was the problem to no avail. My computer has the 1909 windows version so its not an update issue. Please help! I truly enjoy this game, but I can't keep redownloading and installing it everytime I return
    to the game!

    P.S. In the initial launch of the game, I can no longer host or join multiplayer sessions. The game says "Session Error" in the bottom right. I used the fix tool to check online services, but have not tried
    the game yet after doing so as I don't have the patience again to redownload and install the game a 4th time just for this to continue.

    Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand having an issue downloading with the game State of decay 2. The Juggernaut edition was an update that converted the game. As you wont find the base game State of Decay 2 as it called Juggernaut edition
    now. Here is a
    link     to the game on the Microsoft store. May want to reach out to the developers Undead labs also as it may be issue from their end.

    It doesn't matter State Of Deacy 2: Juggernaut Edition is the only one you can buy/download. So you can search for either.

    Can you play multiplayer with other games?

    However, try checking your
    privacy settings     from your profile (Xbox One/Windows 10 Online Safety section).
