Greetings, survivors! We are chomping at the bit (of flesh?) for some zombie action and thrilled to jump into State of Decay 2. Whether you venture out solo or squad up with your friends, we have put together a little FAQ to help you gear up for survival.

 

Q: When does State of Decay 2 release?

A: The game releases on May 22nd, 2018! If you purchase the Ultimate Edition, you get four days early access beginning on May 18th!

 

Q: Will State of Decay 2 have any Xbox One X Enhancements?

A: Yes! Along with 4K & HDR support, players can expect numerous visual enhancements on Xbox One X. These enhancements include further rendering distance, better shadow quality, higher quality character models, and denser foliage to name
a few.

 

Q: State of Decay 2 is an Xbox Play Anywhere title, what does this mean?

A: Being an Xbox Play Anywhere title, digital purchasers of State of Decay 2 will be able to play the game on both Xbox One consoles and Windows 10 PC with just one purchase. Your achievement and game progress, including your saves, will
be synced between both platforms.

 

Q: Will State of Decay 2 be available with the Xbox Game Pass?

A: Yes, Game Pass subscribers will be able to install State of Decay 2 on both Xbox One console & Windows 10 PC on May 22nd, 2018.

 

Q: What are the different editions of State of Decay 2, and what's included?

A: Here's what you will get with purchasing each edition:

 

State of Decay 2 Standard Edition:

 

• Includes the base game
  

 

State of Decay 2 Ultimate Edition:

 

• Early access to game beginning May 18th, 2018 (Four days before general release)

Q: I purchased the Ultimate Edition of State of Decay 2, how will I receive State of Decay: Year One Survival Edition on Xbox One?

A: If you purchased a physical copy, the code will be included in the package. If you purchased digitally through the Xbox Store or Microsoft Store, a code will be delivered through your Xbox Live messages within 7-10 days after the general release
on May 22nd, 2018.

Q: Why can't I see an option for matchmaking?

A: Make sure you have played roughly 20-30 minutes until you have reached a point where you choose a Home Base. Once you have your Home Base set up, you can invite your friends into your game.

A: If you’re stuck on a part of the game, you need some advice from other players on what to do next, or even to give others hints and tips from your own experience, there are a couple of places you can go.

Also the FAQ says Xbox 360 controller is supported on PC : State of Decay 2 FAQ | Xbox Play Anywhere | Xbox & Windows Games

Since State of Decay 2 is not on the eligible title list in the FAQ, it is not eligible for this offer.
