state of decay 2 code 1008

Playing state of decay 2,trying to join my friends game and it keeps giving me error code 1008.any ideas on a fix??

I am sorry you are having issues with my favorite game SoD2 @DrGolbs. Rather than repeat here all of the details I have used in correcting connection issues I am giving you the link.

go have a snack because it takes a while), and making sure my computer time is synced properly (something that luckily rarely happens, but when it does it wreaks havoc).

Rebooting the PC partially clears up a lot of the items that these steps should clear up until some unforeseen event.

Please let us know how it works out. Be sure and do not skip the firewall and teredo checks.
