Starz play

I don't know what's going on with the recently added app Starz Play. It says Starz servers not available. It will play all titles for about twenty minutes then stops and kicks me out saying servers unavailable. I checked xbox.com status and it says up
and running... Anybody else having this issue or know how to fix it? I've tried restarting the system, deleting and redownloading the app, restarting my internet, and testing my connection and internet speeds... Everything checks out!

 

Anyone who has never watched Spartacus, should probably get on that. Immediately.

I just downloaded it; it has a weird navigational issue - when you move to the left, the cursor goes off the screen instead of the screen scrolling with it so you can see what's selected. To see it, you actually need to scroll to the left so it wraps around,
which is odd and should be fixed. Otherwise, it's pretty cool. Even though I'm not a subscriber, I can still watch their shows for free, which is awesome!

 

I just downloaded it. I plan on watching a few movies tonight.

You have to be subscribed. I had to log into my provider and link my Starz account to the Xbox One Starz app.

 

Well I'm sure it would ask for your information in the same way that HBOGO does. But what is this guy up there talking about that he has been watching their shows on the app even though he is not a subscriber? Is this some kind of limited time offer type
deal?

 

^^^There is a preview option when you open the app. It limits the user, but I think you can see a few free episodes,. Mainly it is to see how the app works.

 

^That sucks, I was hoping it would be like a time period I had to use the app. Like 30 days, or even a week would be cool. I wanted to check out that pirate show they got on there. But if I can only watch a few episodes, it's not worth it to even bother.
