Startup and shutdown sound

Discus and support Startup and shutdown sound in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; So I've just downloaded the last system update for the Xbox one and since then I always get a sound for shutting down and starting up my Xbox..     So I've just downloaded the last system update for the Xbox one and since then I always get a sound for shutting down and starting up my Xbox.. Before it would only happen if I actually did it on the Xbox itself, not with the controller.. But now it does
    it with the controller and is just too loud at night as Well as being annoying anyways.. Is there anyway to change it back so it doesn't play with the controller? Thanks

    Power Supply Problem?

    Sounds like you might be downloading something after the console turns off. Check your download queue for any files there. The option for this is under the preferences for Startup and Shutdown.

    My Xbox is turned off, but it sounds like its on?

    This setting would be located in the Startup and Shutdown menu under System Settings/Console Settings

    Sounds like you might be downloading something after the console turns off. Check your download queue for any files there. The option for this is under the preferences for Startup and Shutdown.

    System>Settings>Power mode & startup>Full shutdown.

    Sounds like background downloading is enabled. Try this:

    • From the home menu go to "Settings"
    • Select "System" and press A
    • Go to Console Settings > Startup and Shutdown > Background Downloads .
    • Select "Disable" and press A
