Starting XBOX One by Voltage return

Hi,

is there any possibility to boot the System when connecting to the socket or by switching on the socket in which the Xbox is plugged in?

The question is because of using KNX-Bus at home. Only the needed sockets are powered. When switching on the socket from the XBOX One it would be nice, when the Xbox One boots automatically.

Xbox One Asia Power Supply

So, I bought my Xbox One before it released to Asia. I live in the Maldives where the voltage is 240v and I am currently using a voltage transformer to play my One. Where would I be able to get and Xbox One power supports my voltage. And doesn't make a loud
sound.

Same issue as many others have reported. Need a solution.

When following the instruction on how to return to the jigsaw puzzle the result is that starting one the options by clicking the icon the system again returns to the promotion screen.

Poor programming or a poor attempt to lure players into spending more money ???

This feature is not available in the One at the moment and afaik it is not planned yet.

My concern is whether you are actually getting the 220V your XBOX power supply expects (as you are outside the US). If the voltage is significantly below the range (e.g. 208V or less this could cause what's known as brown out conditions - overdrawing current
for the lack of voltage which in return can cause/causes heat stress on components. Can you check the voltage you are actually getting?

what power/voltage do you have at your house? I am assuming 220V (most commonly used outside the US) Do you have an ohmmeter/voltage meter handy by any chance to check on the incoming voltage since both over and under voltage could increase the work the
power supply has to perform which in return could be the source of your overheating problem.

Another problem could be that there are atypical background processes/applications running on your xbox which could be driving your cpu before you can even start a game.

Under Settings>General>Power mode & startup what are your current settings?

Hi,

No. Firstly, the Xbox One S and X are multi-voltage and secondly, the voltage in Europe is the same as the UK.

Just get the adaptor and you're good to go. 👍
