Starting over games constantly.

It is very common to start the games again when they are very narrative like life is strange, in open worlds I do not do it since I prefer to take up the rhythm with the secondary missions.

can happen over time you lose the ability in some games you even forget or what happens with the story, it has happened to me

With handheld Pokemon games I go back to after years, I forgot what I was doing and why I had certain Pokemon in my party, I will start over.

I’ve only done this a handful of times, and it usually applies to RPGs. I restarted the witcher 3 several years ago and Deus Ex. Both times because it had been too long since I last played and I was no longer invested in the story. But a good restart helped

I do this too! If I havent played it in a while I start it over because i dont remember where I left off as far a story wise.
