Discus and support Start up, Storage. in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; My console will turn on and then start loading the profile screen but it will freeze before it can load them.     Start up, Storage.


    My console will turn on and then start loading the profile screen but it will freeze before it can load them. I was wondering if this could be because I use a USB flash drive or if it is something else and if I need to get my console repaired?

    copy or move?

    Go into storage, go to Cloud Storage and click on it to set it up. Now start up GoW 3, it will then ask where from and select Cloud Storage. Now go play a quick match and then exit. It will then save all your info to Cloud Storage. Exit to the dashboard
    and everytime you start up GoW 3 select HD and not Cloud Storage.





    Anytime you go up more levels or when you want to back it up again go to your memory and delete you old Cloud Storage and repeat the first paragraph again.

    [/quote] thanks but i was asking about the beta saves, i already did this with the GOW 3 player data to cloud storage.

    Have you tried loading the console without the USB drive attached?

    Have you tried a different USB stick?

    Also have you tried deleting your profile selecting to delete profile only then redownloading it?

    Thanks for the help. It was a faulty USB stick and I lost two years of game data.

    Cloud Re-Recovery Question

    If a game doesn't prompt you to choose a storage device at start-up, what you can do is go to the game's options menu and choose the Cloud storage, or other devices from there. Every game has this option, so there's nothing to be concerned about.

    The game will then automatically load the chosen storage device on start-up, in this case it's Cloud Saves if you chose that from the options menu.
