Start-up animation than black screen

Recently I purchased evolve (amazing game by the way) and have been playing it so much but today when I turned on my Xbox one to play it did the usual startup animation than after 12 seconds of loading my screen turned black. It didnt say no video or no
audio just black. And ive tried about everything. Power cycle, checked hdmi, let it rest, turned off internet, unplugged everything, changed resolution (power button+ eject button) and absolutely nothing has changed. Ive seen this topic before on the forums,
but nothing helped. That forum was outdated so I was wondering if anyone has found out how to fix this since than? And yes I talked to xbox they said I have to get it repaired or delete everything on my console (which I would rather not loose all my data)

Xbox will not show home screen it just sits on a blank black screen when I start it up and I’ve tried restarting it and unplugging it completely nothing works.

There was one thread recently where they couldn't get past the green screen and phone support said it needed a repair and they tried resetting the console to factory defaults using the diagnostic tool which brought the console back online for them:

support.xbox.com/.../reset-console-to-factory-defaults

You won't lose your game save data because it's automatically backed up to the cloud, though you might have to reinstall or download some games, though if you ask me that's far better then having to put it in for repair, see how you go.

 

i have the same problem have done all the steps on xbox site and nothing no sound no picture my younger bother has the same problem this has been since the April update.
