Start Recording not there in capture options

Discus and support Start Recording not there in capture options in XboX Insiders to solve the problem; I was trying to record a decent section of gameplay so I put in a USB drive and set it as capture location but I can't do what I've done in the past...     Start Recording not there in capture options


    I was trying to record a decent section of gameplay so I put in a USB drive and set it as capture location but I can't do what I've done in the past where I choose to start recording and it runs for 60 mins. I am in the Insider Beta if that could be the issue but I'm pretty sure I was in the beta when I did this in the past. Did they just remove it?

    Game clips not well recorded

    Before a match for the Cod warzone.. I tried 'start recording' , which records for 2 minutes.. and that worked out well

    instead of the capture option which captures what. happened last few secomds or minutes..

    This one worked well..

    I understand on Xbox press the center button on the Xbox controller to bring up the options menu. Access the “Capture and share” tab and select one of the options “Record what happened”, “Start recording” or “Take screenshot”.

    How do I screen record on my Xbox One S console?

    Press the XBox Home button, scroll across to the second to last menu option on the right...that's the capture menu. Somewhere there is an option to start recording your gameplay...there is also an option to change how long you will record for etc (I believe the longest is 10 minutes but could be wrong)

    You have to press the Xbox button on your controller and go right(capture & share), next to your profile picture you will have the option to start recording.

    Xbox one won't record clips any longer than 24 seconds

    Go to your capture settings and change the record what happened to 5 minutes. If you press start recording it lasts way longer. Record what happened is for short clips only. Starting a recording has a longer duration.
