Start Downloaded Games from the hard drive on X360 freeze the system

Sorry for the multiple posts. I just seen that I got the same issue also with videos. I just downloaded a trailer and tried to play it. I get the same result as playing a game, as soon I start the game I get the black screen. It does play if I am not connected,
same as with the games.

Thanks for all the info you have provided thus far but to better understand your current experience, is it possible you could provide a link to a SkyDrive or YouTube video of this experience happening? It would really help us out seeing the exact thing that
you are seeing when this occurs.

Would you also be able to provide the exact steps that you are performing in numbered order when this experience is occurring? Here is an example of what we are looking for if that might sound a bit confusing:

1). Power on the Xbox 360 with auto sign-in enabled

2). Navigate to the Games> My Games> Launch a game

3). Experience black screen

4). Press guide button and experience a console freeze.

Please remember that these are just example steps. If your steps differ a bit, please be as specific as you can so we can make sure nothing is being overlooked. Thanks!

 

Well, I just fixed the 3 red rings of death on my console,

But theres a frezze problem I have where it frezzez whilst signing in

I know there was a box on top of the Xbox but this is usually not the case. I was just remodelling the room and made this video quickly, normally if I play the box has nothing on top. So no overheating can be the case.

Having what seems to be the exact same issue. I power on my 360, sign into my gamertag, attempt to start a downloaded game/app/disc game and it just goes to a black screen. The guide appears just fine but when I hit "Y" then select "Yes" to return to dash,
the console freezes. Disconnecting from LIVE and then starting the game, then reconnecting back has worked for me, thankfully.
