    Start button not recognised in Ultra Street Fighter IV, on Series X


    Strange problem - when I start up Ultra Street Fighter IV on Series X (360 back-compatible) the game loads up and starts to play the intro, but it doesn't recognise when I press "start", so I can't start the game. The OS recognises when I press "start" and "options" to bring up the 360 blades menu, but in game, it won't recognise the "start" button. It worked a couple of months ago, now doesn't.

    OS is updated.

    Controller firmware updated.

    Controlled config is default, and I've tested the buttons through the app.

    Start button works on S/X and XBOne native games.

    I've power cycled the machine already, no dice.

    Any thoughts?

    Ultra street fighter IV is actually a DLC that is shown as available, not it's own game. I was wondering if that had anything to do with it. Also weren't prepurchases of the 30th Street Fighter Anniversary collection given Ultra Street Fighter IV?

    Agreed, this has got way off topic. Dead or Alive is a great fighting series. In my opinion it is the best fighting game I have ever played, then close 2nd is Street Fighter IV. (not Street Fighter vs, or X, Just street fighter).

    Ultra Street Fighter IV Backwards Compatibility Issue

    Ultra Street Fighter IV is a DLC upgrade for Arcade Edition alongside of a standalone release for those who don't own it. Since BC usually supports all DLC that comes with it, that means USF4 should
    be possible. It is also listed as an available purchase on the ingame marketplace which directs to the xbox one marketplace for the Ultra Street Fighter IV DLC.
