"Start a party" on Windows 10 Xbox app is not working.

Discus and support "Start a party" on Windows 10 Xbox app is not working. in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; Basically every time I click onto "Start a party" it pops up for a second and then closes.     "Start a party" on Windows 10 Xbox app is not working.


    Basically every time I click onto "Start a party" it pops up for a second and then closes.

    Another problem is that I cannot play this Microsoft game called Gigantic. Its a multiplayer game and I cannot find a game in que for some reason. And while I'm in the game I keep losing connection to Xbox live. It could be because the game is in alpha but
    that doesn't fix that Party problem on the Xbox app.

    Can anyone help?

    HUGE Probmlem On The Xbox on Windows 10 Party Chat

    I too am not able to join or start a party on my Windows 10 Xbox App. Every time I click to join or start a party, the Xbox App crashes and goes back to my desktop home screen.

    Win10 Xbox App not receiving party invites which appear on Xbox One notifications

    Windows 10 Xbox Application does not receive party invites/notifications sent from Xbox One Console.

    I prefer to use my Windows 10 PC for chat since i can use a USB Jabra Headset. I can do this when I start the party in the Xbox App then invite people to my party. I can also join my friends parties, it comes up to say join party if it is an open party.

    When playing with others from LFG sites that aren't on my Xbox friends list (usually invites from LFG sites like destiny tracker/destiny LFG) I receive the invite on my Xbox One console as a notification to join party, it works fine on the console.

    I do not receive the same invite in the Windows 10 Xbox Application, I think I should from what I understand. The Windows 10 Xbox App is working for other things, such as regular messages, which do show on both the Xbox One console and Windows 10 Xbox application.

    Any ideas? Should this work? I assume so.

    To properly isolate your concern, please provide answers to the following questions:

    • Does the same issue occur on your other games?
    • Are there any error messages when you start the party on Xbox App?

    We also recommend that you check your NAT type on the Network tab of the Settings screen in the Xbox app.

    Here are the steps to check the NAT type:

    1. Click the Start icon and open the Xbox app.
    2. Select Settings > Network.
    3. Under Network status, check the NAT type.

    You can also check if Party chats work well on the Xbox app on PC (Windows 10/11) or on your phone.
