starfield will not launch and keeps displaying this error message

None of the things you listed can be even tried on the xbox app where most of us play starfield from.

Is there an error message displayed when the game doesn't launch?

ALSO WORKED FOR ME! tried repairing/reinstalling the app, reinstalling the game, etc. then I came across this suggestion and it worked! My app was not launching Starfield but wasn’t giving any error messages just so everyone knows what my issue was with the game launching. Cheers!
