Starfield synchronization saves

I'm sorry to hear that your saves were deleted during synchronization in the Starfield game. That must be very frustrating. Unfortunately, there is no way to restore them as deleting saves also deletes cloud saves. See: How do I delete saves in Starfield? - Bethesda Support

It is preferable to have numerous saved games if you want to avoid this issue. For various reasons, such as before and after a difficult battle, many players have different saved games. Generally speaking, it is advise using alternate save game spaces and saving pretty frequently. This way, in the event that one save game file is lost or replaced, you can still play one of your most recent saved games. Your saved game may be impacted if you've used any cheats.

For now, we do appreciate the efforts on posting here, and as well as we truly understand the experience that you are facing and what is that you want to achieve right now on perhaps recovering your game saves. Now what we can share about this is that this issue really do persist and is still a work in progress since you are not the only one that is experiencing this issue and as well as recovering game saves if there are lost or perhaps gone, we do not have the possible resources to share since we are limited in that kind of process.

What we can do here now is for you to reach out the Customer Support of Starfield which the game developer of that game is Bethesda. It's best to work with them as they have the necessary tools to further investigate the issue and provide you with a timely resolution with your concern.

Hi there,

when you play a game on the Xbox One console, it synchronizes the save game with Xbox Live. If a console is powered down while the save was not fully synchronized, you can't continue where you left off on a different console. You will have to power on the
console last played on for a while so it can finish synchronizing. After it is synchronized you can continue on a different console again.

I can't say how long it takes to synchronize, but usually not very long.
