Starfield premium skins works om Xbox but not on my pc and I see it’s also installed on my pc

Based on the description, you are having issue with the premium skins dlc that is not working on Xbox app on Windows PC. Let us check and see on what we can do to help resolve your concern in a timely manner.

As per description, the premium dlc is already installed in your device. It is possible that there was a problem with synching with your game save. If you have the game on Xbox, you can go to your Xbox settings and ensure that the games you want saved to the cloud are synched up. You can do this by going to Settings, then select Storage and then selecting your cloud-saved games. Ensure that Starfield is one of them and let the game sync to the cloud.

By the way, While Starfield is an Xbox Play Anywhere (XPA) title, the game can NOT be played at the same time on two different devices if you are signed into the same Microsoft Account. See: Game Release Known Issues for September 2023 - Microsoft Community

I solved the problem by reinstalling everything on the c drive

I uninstalled all with Xbox app

Installed game

Waited for game tobe installed

The installed premium pack

Om c drive

Still is see the folders under c

Did move anything

And it worked

Skins are in the game now

Ok, I think I figured out the issue. I first pre-installed just the game titled "Starfield" last week. When I kept trying to pre-install that version it keeps failing. When I did a search in the XBOX app on my PC for Starfield, it showed all the editions and also the one titled "Starfield" that I was trying to install. When I looked at the "Starfield Standard Edition" it also showed pre-install now (I'm a gamepass premium subscriber) so I tried that one and it is installing now. So far no errors. The weird thing is when I go back and look at the one just titled Starfield and it also shows as downloading. I think that particular download link is broken.
