Starfield preload fails preload error code 0x89235003

Hi,

Trying to preload Starfield on PC and getting this error: Starfield preload fails preload error code 0x89235003.

I am trying to preload to my NVMe which is not my C drive, My XBOX APP version is:

Tried different download directories checked for updates for windows and the app but found none also tried rebooting my machine a couple of times.

Update:

There appears to be an issue with the Xbox App on PC at the moment where no games can be downloaded. They all have the same 0x89235003 error code.

We need to wait until it's fixed. It's not your system. I can't download anything either.

Yes I think you are correct, Today it downloaded around 50 mb/s and then asked me to wait for release.

I am having the same issue but my code is 0x80070490. been trying to get this pre installed since yesterday with no luck.

Hi,

I have the same issue. I believe the pre-load actually starts on the August 17 according to IGN and Bethesda's own feed on X (formally known as Twitter)

I guess we need to try again tomorrow.
