    Hi

    I am an Xbox Gamepass premium subscriber. I am interested in playing Starfield and I know I get Standard edition with Day One access as part of my subscription, In order to get the premium edition do I need to buy the premium edition at £99 or can I get the upgrade as I have the standard edition as part of my Gamepass?

    Hello! As an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriber, you will have access to the standard edition of Starfield on the day of release. However, if you want to upgrade to the premium edition, you will need to purchase it separately. The premium edition is not included in your Game Pass subscription. I hope this helps!     Keep in mind with.gamepass ultimate you don't keep starfield or any game you only have it while you are subscribed

    Meaning yes you do have to pay full price minus the 10% gamepass doscount

    Starfield preload keeps failing to download

    Ok, I think I figured out the issue. I first pre-installed just the game titled "Starfield" last week. When I kept trying to pre-install that version it keeps failing. When I did a search in the XBOX app on my PC for Starfield, it showed all the editions and also the one titled "Starfield" that I was trying to install. When I looked at the "Starfield Standard Edition" it also showed pre-install now (I'm a gamepass premium subscriber) so I tried that one and it is installing now. So far no errors. The weird thing is when I go back and look at the one just titled Starfield and it also shows as downloading. I think that particular download link is broken.
