    I started playing on the PC and saved the game. Later I turned on the XBox and started Starfield. It gives me a 0x80004004 error and tells me it is unable to initialize my storage. It does not move on from the Starfield splash screen. I have plenty of space left on the XBox, 34% free, NAT reports open, and the network test passes.

    Not sure if it's helpful but this worked for me: After each play session I made sure to Exit Save and quit the application and leave the machine on be that PC or Xbox. It'd allow for the saves to synchronise to Cloud and be recalled from whichever device you choose to play on next.

    My issues are all on PC, using the Gamepass. It seems that since I started my first file on Cloud Gaming it will not initialize save storage on PC.

    I've uninstalled the Xbox App, Xbox Gaming Service, Starfield, and install locations around 6 times since yesterday morning to no avail.

    I finally just bought the game and downloaded it standalone from a provider other than Xbox and it works fine.

    I did I deleted the game fully on pc and re downloaded and all the sync problems were fixed

    I have the same issue on PC. Started on Xbox Cloud Gaming...which was horrendous...decided to install on my PC and it will not load. Has anyone found a resolution? I tried uninstalling/reinstalling multiple times; both App and Game content. No luck. On a side note would just be awesome if it kicked you to the main screen and just forced a new game :?

    I have the same issue. Have since checked that there was an exit save from my Xbox session and left the console on to give it an opportunity to synchronise saves. It's been a couple of hours and still the same issue.
