Starfield didnt launch

I can see that you are having trouble accessing Starfield on your Xbox Series console. Please try the following steps:

- Restart your console and check for any updates.

- Go to Settings > System > Language & Location and make sure your location is set to United States.

- Go to My Games & Apps > Full Library > All Owned Games and look for Starfield in the list. If you see it, select it and choose Manage Installation > Install All.

- If you don't see Starfield in the list, go to the Microsoft Store app on your console and search for Starfield. If you see it, select it and choose Install.

We fully understand the inconvenience the issue has caused and that the current situation can be frustrating. Recently in the Answers forum we have received a lot of feedback from users about this issue, stating that the error code 0x80004005 occurs when launching Starfield, here are the related threads I found that you can refer to.

In one of the threads, a user Stone Hardgod mentioned that disabling Quick Resume can fix this issue, you can refer to it.

However, I have to say that since you only get the problem when running this game, then it is very likely that there is something wrong with the game itself. Just chiming in to say I also paid for the digital Premium Edition for Early Access to Starfield and it will not launch. Very frustrating.

Then you haven't been paying attention then

Cloud is a loss leader for ms also.if you didnt know in october xbox got a huge influx or cloud users with launch of starfield and geforce now and steam.deck users being able to use xcloud and they recently added 9 other services for free as part of the EU deal

Cloud is a loss leader and considered a perk.not.a main feature even sony didn't believe it was a competitor
