Stardew valley saved games are not syncing to PC

    Stardew valley saved games are not syncing to PC


    I'm playing Stardew Valley via Cloud. I've just installed it on my PC, however the saved games are not syncing to the PC install. It's a forced move because the Cloud gaming experience has been atrocious. Terrible lag, screen pixelation, etc. Unusable. And before you go there - this is NOT my network connection. I'm running a fibre connection with rock solid latency (~12ms). This remains consistent through periods of terrible game lag. So it's definitely an issue on the Microsoft server end. Anyway... I need to move onto my PC as a result and thus need my saved game. Expected it would be seamless. Apparently not.

    Yes there is a PC version of Stardew valley, as well as console versions. Here is an FAQ on the game website, answering this and similar questions.

    Hi Kellestial, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    Xbox cloud saves means that you can play the game on one device and continue it on a different device by simply syncing it however if you're looking to play the game Stardew Valley on your Xbox console and wanted to continue it on your PC that's not possible because that game on Xbox and on PC has a different license. Cloud syncing both on Xbox and PC is possible for Xbox Play Anywhere games or depending on the game developer.
