    Star Wars The Last Jedi 4k blu ray won’t play on Xbox one x


    Anyone else experiencing this? All my other 4k discs play fine, got the new Star Wars film and the 4k disc simply wont play (the standard 1080p disc plays fine). I even got a replacement disc just to check and the same issue encountered.

    I’m thinking there maybe a 4k standards update included in the Star Wars release that hasn’t been updated in the Xbox app.

    4K Blu Ray not playing

    Tried to play my new Star Wars The Last Jedi 4K blu ray last night. My xbox one s just kept getting stuck and saying disc was not recognized. Anyone got any help or advice.

    ok guys,

    Technical question, I’m looking online to buy blue ray movies. Mainly Star Wars complete saga & planet earth 4K. In the description area it’s states that these Blue Ray movies won’t play on console. Is there a specific blue ray movies I need to buy or
    is it because the seller is selling pirate illegal copies? This is for my Xbox One X?

    Just tried my new copy of the Last Jedi, 4K disc would not play, but the blue ray version works fine.

    My Scorpio Edition reads Thor 3, Fast 8, but not Star Wars Last Jedi!

    Pls. help!

    What can I do?! It sucks…
    Will there be a Software Update to fix this issue?! It's error Code 0x91d70000)

    And somtimes there is no error Code at all. It just says: No readable disk.

    (I checked two copies of the 4K UHD Blu Ray. The Standard Blu Ray works fine)

    Xbox One and Xbox One S are 1080P Gaming

    Xbox One S will play 4K Blu Ray's

    Xbox One X will play Game in 4K if they are Enhanced with 4K Support + 4k Blu Ray support

    They Xbox One X will also Upscale on a 1080p screen so you will see some benefit of the Xbox One X

    I saw it has HDMI 2.0B thingy on this site.

    If say you connect an Xbox One X to your 4K HDTV, you should still be able to:

    1. Download the YouTube and Netflix apps, onto your Xbox One X, and still be able to watch in 4k 60fps?

    2. Use Xbox One X 4k Blu-ray player to watch 4k Blu-ray disc movies in 4k 60fps?

    3. Play games on Xbox One X, in 4k 60fps?

    .... right?
